In this article, we will be going over all of the SWTOR Balmorra Datacron locations. Below you will find a video walkthrough for the Datacrons as well as a text guide which lists coordinates and rewards.

Note that while both factions can access Balmorra, each faction has their own set of Datacrons as players of different factions actually land on a different location on the planet.

Below, you will find a video guide for finding all 5 Datacrons for Imperial players. The zone represented in the video is the Empire’s version of Balmorra:

The video starts with Datacron 1, the second Datacron begins at 1:00, the third at 1:38, the fourth at 3:00, and the final Datacron at 3:34.

SWTOR Balmorra Datacron Locations – Coordinates, Rewards and Tips

Below, you will find a text-based guide to the Balmorra Datacrons which covers the coordinates, the rewards, and strategies for getting access to each Datacron.

  • Datacron 1: (X:-1017, Y:1515). Reward: +2 Aim. Datacron 1 is found inside the Okara Droid Factory in the Assembly Line elite area. You can zone into the Okara Droid factory at (X:-1045, Y:1490). Once inside, go down the elevator to the Assembly Line heroic area. Since this is a heroic area, if you are under level 25, you will likely want to bring a friend to help out. Once inside the Assembly Line, drop to the lowest level and move to (X:-1012, Y:9). This is basically directly under one of the Assembly Lines. There, you will see a small door which lets you drop onto a pipe. The Datacron is found on one of the pipes that can only be accessed by dropping down onto it. If you miss the jump, you will have to go back to the beginning and try again, so take your time!
  • Datacron 2: (X:1851, Y:110). Reward: +2 Cunning. This Datacron can be found underneath the docks at the rear exit to the Balmorran Arms Factory. To get there, from the main map enter the Sundari Flatlands at (X:735, Y:1616). You can then zone into the Balmorran Arms Factory at (X:1280, Y:732). From here, head up to the second floor, then out the back into the open area. The Datacron is found underneath the dock near the water to the east.
  • Datacron 3: (X:-497, Y:2035). Reward: Green Matrix Shard. This one is easy to find, but it requires a partner. Head to the Neebray Warehouse at (X:-473, Y:1928). You will enter a small building which has an elevator in the back. Take the elevator to the second floor. Here you will notice the Datacron hiding behind a force field. To deactivate the force field, you and another player will have to activate each of the two computer consoles in the room simultaneously. This will deactivate the force field so you can run in and grab the Datacron.
  • Datacron 4: (X:726, Y:2032). Reward: +2 Strength. At (X:683, Y:1858), you will notice a small ridge in the mountain which you can climb up. Climb up it and drop off to the left, where you will see a well-defined path. This puts you on a small plateau which you cannot reach any other way. You can then take this to the back to grab the Datacron hidden all the way to the south. There are a few weak enemies up here, so it may not look like a special area at first but it is the resting place of a Datacron.
  • Datacron 5: (X:191, Y:-343). Reward: +2 Willpower. Definitely the most confusing Datacron of the bunch. First off, before you can even get it, you need to get access to the Bugtown Taxi path. Normal taxis will not fly to Bugtown; you must first unlock the Vanguard Outpost Taxi which can be found near (X:-1592, Y:1269). Once you get this, you can then travel to Bugtown. Once you are in Bugtown, you need to buy a key for 5,000 credits from a vendor hidden at (X:191, Y:3). The item you want to buy is the Lost Code Cylinder. Once you have the code, head to (X:191, Y:-343). Here you will find a chest which you can use the key you just purchased to unlock. Inside is the final Datacron of Balmorra for the Imperial side.
